BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University head softball coach Rick Supinski announced the signing of Sarah Johnson (RHP, Annandale, Minn.) for the 2018 season and completing the 2018 early signing period for the softball program. Johnson joins Elaina Christiansen and Kaidron McClafferty as additions to the Bemidji State softball program during the early signing period.
All signees are contingent upon admission to BSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Sarah Johnson – 5-7 - RHP – Annandale, Minn. (Annandale HS)
Annandale HS: Johnson is a four-time letter recipient for the Cardinal softball program… A three-time Wright County All-Conference selection and three-time All-Section selection… Helped the Cardinals to a conference championship and sub-section championship… Voted the MVP of her team by her peers for three consecutive seasons… Johnson was a National Honor Society member and Honor Roll student at Annandale High School.
Personal: Born on Feb. 3, 2000 and is the daughter of Joseph Johnson and Tamorah Petty… Plans to major in Accounting while at Bemidji State… Johnson enjoys spending time with family and friends when not playing softball.
