BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University softball head coach Rick Supinski announced the program’s 2018 schedule, beginning with a non-conference series at St. Cloud State University, Feb. 17.

The Beavers will play 22 non-conference games to start the season followed by 30 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference games for a 52-game schedule.
Bemidji State follows the opening series with the Huskies with the Dragon/Beaver Battle tournament held in West St. Paul, Minn., Feb. 22-23. The Beavers will then play 12 games during their Spring Break Trip, Mar. 10-16 in Clermont, Fla. BSU wraps-up its non-conference schedule at the Concordia Moorhead Games Mar. 21-22 at the West St. Paul Dome in St. Paul, Minn.
The Beavers then begin its NSIC schedule by hosting University of Minnesota Crookston, Mar. 27, for the team’s first home games of the season. BSU is then on the road at Northern State University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead before hosting University of Mary, April 3.
Bemidji State will hit the road for three series at Winona State University, Upper Iowa University and St. Cloud State before a home slate against Minnesota State University, Mankato, April 14, Concordia-St. Paul University, April 15, and Minot State University, April 17.
The Beavers will travel for their final road trip of the season at Augustana University and Wayne State College, April 21-22 followed by a six-game home slate against University of Minnesota Duluth, April 25, Southwest Minnesota State University, April 28, and the final series of the season against University of Sioux Falls, April 29.
Post season play will kick-off on May 3 with the NSIC Softball Tournament held in Sioux Falls, S.D.
The Beavers will look to build off a record season in 2017 with the program’s highest finish in the NSIC Softball Tournament, finishing third a season ago. Bemidji State posted a 28-19 record in 2017 and earning the program’s highest ever seeding (sixth) in the NSIC Softball Tournament.
