BEMIDJI, Minn. – After a historic four seasons with the Bemidji State University softball team, Jessica Burlingame has begun her professional career after being selected with the 22nd pick in the 2019 American Softball Association draft. Burlingame was selected by Performance Lab, a new sponsor to the league in 2019, and will begin the season June 14.
Burlingame was a All-NSIC Second Team selection in 2019 for the Beavers and broke numerous program single-season records including hits, at bats, runs, triples and stolen bases as well as career records in at bats (644), runs (133), hits (233) and triples (15).
The ASBA is a professional women’s softball league returning to Satsuma, Alabama for its second year in June.
