BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University volleyball team announced its 2018 schedule today in preparation of the upcoming fall season. The Beavers will play a 28-match regular season slate beginning August 24th at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside tournament in Kenosha, Wis.

The Beavers play four matches against Purdue University Northwest, Saginaw Valley State University, University of Minnesota Crookston and Wisconsin-Parkside, Aug. 24-25, on the campus of the Rangers. BSU then conclude sits non-conference schedule by traveling to Marquette, Mich., to participate at the Northern Michigan University Tournament. The Beavers face-off with Michigan Tech University, Northwood University, Northern Michigan and Lake Superior State University at the tournament, Aug. 31-Sept. 1.
Bemidji State opens Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play on the road at University of Minnesota Duluth, Sept. 6, followed by its first home matches against St. Cloud State University and Minnesota Crookston Sept. 8 and 11, respectively.
The Beavers are on the road the following weekend, Sept. 14-15, at Northern State University and Minnesota State University, Moorhead before returning home for a four-match home stand against University of Mary, Minot State University, University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University.
Bemidji State spends most of its time on the road during October and hosts just two matches during the month. The Beavers begin the month with three-straight road matches at Wayne State College, Augustana University and Minnesota Crookston, Oct. 5, 6 and 9 followed by their only home weekend Oct. 12-13 against Concordia University-St. Paul and Minnesota State University, Mankato. BSU then concludes the month with four-straight road matches at Upper Iowa University, Winona State University, Minot State and U-Mary, Oct. 19, 20, 26 and 27.
The Beavers then end the regular season at home against MSU-Moorhead and Northern State, Nov. 2-3.
Postseason play begins Nov. 6 with the first round of the NSIC Volleyball Tournament followed by the semifinals and championship match, Nov. 9-10.
