BSU takes first road win in 27 tries with 83-57 victory over Minot State

Senior guards Tatum Sheley and Aimee Pelzer turned their pursuits towards 1,000 career points into Bemidji State University women’s basketball’s first road win in 27 games with a 83-57 victory over Minot State University Friday night at MSU Dome in Minot, N.D. Pelzer led BSU (6-11, 3-10 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) with 25 points while Sheley finished with 14, 12 shy of 1,000 points in her career, against MiSU (3-16, 1-12 NSIC).


Women's Hoops open season series versus Minot State, U-Mary

The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team hits the road for the first time in 2017 to face Minot State University Jan. 20 and University of Mary, Jan. 21. The Beavers (5-11, 2-10 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) face the Beavers of MiSU (3-15, 1-11 NSIC) and the Marauders (9-11, 4-8 NSIC) in North Dakota for the first of two season meetings.

BEMIDJI, Minn. (BSU Gymnasium) -- The Bemidji State University women's basketball team came three minutes short of upsetting University of Sioux Falls Friday night from BSU Gymnasium in a 55-47 loss. The Beavers (4-11, 1-10 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) went on a 17-3 run between the third and fourth quarters to take its first lead of the night against the Cougars (13-2, 9-2 NSIC).


Beavers close five-game home stand versus Cougars, Mustangs

Bemidji State University women’s basketball closes a five-game home stand against University of Sioux Falls and Southwest Minnesota State University Jan. 13-14 at BSU Gymnasium. The Beavers (4-10, 1-9 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) totaled three players in double-digit scoring including a hot second-quarter performance by senior guard Allison Cordes who shot 4-for-4 from beyond the arc during the period.

The Bemidji State University women's basketball team grabbed its first Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference win of the season Saturday afternoon with a 60-57 win over University of Minnesota Duluth at Sanford Center. The Beavers (4-9, 1-8 NSIC) clicked on both ends of the court while three players recorded or came close to double-doubles against the Bulldogs (9-5, 7-3 NSIC).


Slow start dooms Beavers in 65-59 loss to Huskies

The Bemidji State University women's basketball team outplayed St. Cloud State University in the final three quarters Friday night during the opener of the Sanford Center Series, but were put in a hole early after a first quarter lull. The Beavers (3-9, 0-8 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference) fell to the Huskies (7-6, 5-4 NSIC), 65-59, after recording four points in the first quarter that forced them in comeback mode the rest of the night.
