Bemidji State Women's Basketball unveils 2010-11 schedule

The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team announced today a 26-game schedule for the 2010-11 season highlighted by games with four Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference teams who appeared in the 2010 NCAA Central Region tournament. Curfman adds two for 2010-11

Bemidji State women’s basketball head coach Mike Curfman announced today the addition for two more student-athletes to his 2010-11 squad. Melissa Borstner (G, East Bethel, Minn.) and Jordyn Hover (PG, Barron, Wis.) signed National Letters of Intent during the late signing period that began today. The signings make five for Curfman and the Beavers for next season, as Borstner and Hover join Morgan Lee (G, Hayward, Wis.), Kate Warmack (C, East Grand Forks, Minn.) and Ellie Wessling (G/F, Winsted, Minn.), who signed during the early period in November.


Althoff named to NSIC All-Freshman Team

Bemidji State University freshman center Jessie Althoff (Becker, Minn.) has been named to the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Freshman Team announced today by the league office. Althoff led the Beavers in scoring in 2009-10 with 10.1 points per game, recording double-figures in a team-high 14 contests.
