Senske and Wunrow selected for Butch Raymond Scholarship

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announced 28 recipients of the fourth annual Butch Raymond Scholarship, which included Sierra Senske of the Bemidji State University women’s basketball team and Eric Wunrow, a Beaver Football player. A total of $240,000 in scholarships, sponsored by Sanford Health, is divided among selected recipients from each of the NSIC’s 16 member institutions.

Eight individuals, team to be inducted into Bemidji State Athletic Hall of Fame

(Wachs Arena) -- The Bemidji State University women’s basketball team was in good position to make an upset Saturday in the 2016-17 road schedule finale but fell into a hole early in the third quarter of a 76-55 loss to Northern State University. Bemidji State University women’s basketball Head Coach Chelsea DeVille announced the 2016-17 schedule today. The Beavers schedule features 22 conference, four non-conference and one exhibition matchup that begins Nov. 3.


NSIC to celebrate 25th Anniversary in 2016-17

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) is excited to announce that it will celebrate its 25th Anniversary during the 2016-17 academic year. The year-long celebration will lead up to July 1, 2017 when the league will turn 25 years old. As part of the event, the NSIC has unveiled its 25th Anniversary logo, which will be used as the league's official logo during the next 12 months.


Recruit Roundup: New faces to Beavers Women's Hoops in 2016-17

Bemidji State University women’s basketball Head Coach Chelsea DeVille finished her first full season with the program last season, which includes the addition of her first full recruit class. The 2016-17 newcomers includes more than a handful of playmakers, as eight incoming freshmen and transfers will step foot on to campus with goals to further drive the success of the program.


Majerowicz joins Beavers Women’s Hoops as assistant coach

Bemidji State University women’s basketball Head Coach Chelsea DeVille announced today that Jamie Majerowicz has been added to the coaching staff as an assistant coach. Prior to serving as Loras College women’s basketball’s top assistant, Majerowicz featured an outstanding four-year playing career, and later coaching stint, at Winona State University in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference.


Pelzer selected as recipient of Butch Raymond Scholarship award

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) announced 16 recipients of the third annual Butch Raymond Scholarship today, which included Bemidji State University women’s basketball guard Aimee Pelzer.
