BURNSVILLE, Minn. -- The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announce a continued partnership with Midco Sports Network® for live coverage of eight football games and nine basketball doubleheaders during the 2018-19 academic year. The partnership will continue the “NSIC Thursday Night Football Game of the Week,” airing the first four weeks of the season from August 30 through September 20 on MidcoSN. The live football broadcast schedule will also include four Saturday games.
Bemidji State will take center stage Oct. 20 when it hosts Minnesota State University, Mankato for an interdivisional match up. Opening kickoff for that game is set for 1 p.m. at Chet Anderson Stadium.
Additionally, MidcoSN will broadcast nine basketball doubleheaders and continue its full coverage of the NSIC/Sanford Health Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournaments. All fourteen games of the tournament played at the Sanford Pentagon along with the nine doubleheaders will mark 32 live basketball contests produced and aired live on MidcoSN.

For the past four years, the NSIC and MidcoSN have partnered to broadcast numerous live and taped-delayed regular season and tournament contests from various NSIC sports, including most recently, the NSIC Baseball Tournament and NSIC Softball Tournament Championship games.
