2011-12 (Sophomore): Played in all 27 games with seven starts… Finished third on the squad in rebounds with 112 (4.1 rpg) and fifth in scoring with 213 points (7.9 ppg) in 20.6 minutes per game… Shot 39.9 percent from the field and 87.2 percent from the free throw line… Added 42 assists and 21 steals… Recorded 10 games with 10 or more points… Tied a career-high with 21 points in the triple-overtime loss to MSU Moorhead Feb. 11… Averaged 16.3 points and 6.0 rebounds in a three-game stretch Feb. 10-17… Posted four-plus rebounds 15 times, including a season-high nine rebounds on two occasions (Dec. 17 and Feb. 24)… Recorded seven games with three or more assists.
2010-11 (Freshman): Led all BSU freshmen in scoring with 8.2 points per game…Led BSU in scoring more times than any other player (seven times)…Ranked second on the team in rebounding with 5.2 boards per game…Scored 16 points in her first collegiate game versus Mayville State Nov. 16…Followed up her performance with a season-high 21 points against California (Pa.) at Maverick Classic Nov. 19…Tied season-high with 21 points versus Upper Iowa Dec. 11…Logged nine double-figure scoring games…Also grabbed 10 boards against California (Pa.) to secure first-career double-double…Notched season-high 13 rebounds versus Grand View…Named to All-Maverick Classic Tournament Team after averaging 13 points and 11.5 rebounds…Secured second career double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds against Southwest Minnesota State Jan. 22.
Winsted High School: Wessling was a major contributor to a Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School squad that posted a 29-4 record and was a runner-up in the AA Minnesota State tournament championship last season. She posted a game-high 19 points in the state championship game and averaged 16.0 points per game during the season. Her 16 ppg was second on the team to BSU freshman Katie Pettit. After her junior season, Wessling was named all-state honorable mention by the St. Paul Pioneer Press, as AA all-tournament team honoree and was an all-conference member. She has been on a Laker team that has reached the state tournament twice. She is 44 points away from reaching the 1,000 point mark for her career and has a personal-best 34 points in a game. She has earned letters in both basketball and softball. In the classroom, Wessling is a honor roll student.
Personal: The daughter of Gary and Lisa Wessling...she was born March 2, 1992 in Wiconia, Minn...Wessling is majoring in Enviromental Science and a minor in biology at BSU.
