2010-11 (Sophomore): – Appeared in 20 games as a sophomore, which included 19 starts…Ranked second on the team in scoring (9.1 pts/gm) and third in rebounding (3.9 reb/gm)…Was one of six BSU players to shoot higher than 80 percent from the charity stripe (80.6 percent) on a team that finished ranked in the top 25 nationally for free throw percentage…Led the Beavers in scoring five times…Tallied double-figures in scoring in 11 games…Paced BSU to victory with team-leading 13 points and a career-high nine boards against Grand View Nov. 20…Led the Beavers in scoring with 12 points in an 83-31 dominating victory against St. Scholastica…Tallied season-high 16 points versus Northern State Jan. 29…Missed final six games of the season due to an injury suffered against Minnesota Duluth Feb. 5. 2009-10 (Freshman): An NSIC All-Freshman selection...Led the team in scoring with a 10.1 per game average as a freshman...Averaged 3.6 rebounds per game...Appeared in 27 games, starting 22...Played 24.4 minutes per game last season...Shot 80.7 percent from the charity stripe...Scored career-high 25 points in last game of the season against Wayne State (Neb.)...Tallied 21 points versus Minnesota, Crookston...Scored in double figures in 14 games...Grabbed career-high seven rebounds against Western State and Wayne State (Neb.) Becker High School: Was a three-sport standout as a focal point of the Bulldogs’ girls basketball, tennis and softball programs, earning the honor of Becker High School Female Athlete of the Year in 2008-09...The twelve time letterwinner (4 letters basketball, 4 letters tennis, 4 letters softball) has been a member of three Minnesota State Tournament teams…As a sophomore she was a member of the Becker girls’ basketball team that won the Minnesota State High School Girl’s Basketball Tournament in 2007, her softball team took third in the state tournament her junior year in the spring of 2008 and earned a fifth at the 2009 softball tournament…A multidimensional student-athlete, Althoff is a two time all-conference performer in tennis, while she has earned all-conference and all-area awards in softball and basketball during her career…Prior to the beginning of her senior season she was selected as one of the top 25 seniors in Minnesota Girls’ Basketball for 2009 by the Breakdown Preview…She is also accomplished in the classroom as she is a consistent member of the honor roll and has received outstanding academic achievement awards. Personal: The daughter of Tom and Jan Althoff…Born Oct. 16, 1990 in Naples, Fla…Enjoys hanging out with her friends and roommates, playing other sports and going to the beach…Her grandfather Toby played college basketball and baseball at Millikin University and is in the University’s Athletic Hall of Fame…Majoring in Physical Education with a minor in Exercise Science. ![]() |
