Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School: Was a four-sport athlete at Howard Lake-Waverly-Winsted High School earning letters in basketball, volleyball, softball and track and field…Finished her high school career as the leading scorer in school history, is a member of the 2,000 point club, holds the record for most points, steals and assists in a season and career, holds the career record for free-throw percentage and three-pointers made…Led the squad to a school-record 28-3 mark and a second-place finish at the Minnesota State tournament her senior season, earning all-tournament team honors…Was a member of a Minnesota State Tournament Participant team (2008)…During her junior season she led her team to a 25-6 record netting 16.6 ppg…Pettit also excelled off the court as she was a consistent member of the honor roll while serving as president of the National Honor Society…She also earned academic letters, was the salutatorian and was a member of the all-state academic team.
