The 42nd Annual Gordy Skaar Memorial Golf Tournament is set for Friday, June 21 at Bemidji Town and Country Club and it’s not too late to participate. Registration materials for men and women are now being accepted until July 11th for the event to benefit the Bemidji State University Athletic Scholarship Fund.
The Bemidji State University cross country and track and field teams will team up with the BSU Sustainability Office to host the 2019 Stride into Spring 5K/10K April 27. The annual run/walk begins at 9 a.m. from the parking lot of the Gillett Recreation Center.
The Howe-Welle Women’s Athletics Golf Tournament is set for August 23 at the Bemidji Town and Country Club. Formerly known as the Lady Beaver Tournament the golf outing returns as one of the events scheduled for the 50th Anniversary of BSU Women’s Athletics Celebration weekend Aug. 23–25, 2019.

The Bemidji State University cross country and track and field head coach Kevin Kean has announced the addition of distance runner Jasmine Rascon to the program’s 21018-19 signing class. Rascon will run for both programs after signing a National Letter of Intent to join BSU next fall.
Bemidji State University track and field head coach Kevin Kean announced the addition of two more student-athletes to the 2018-19 signing class in Janice Cole and Emma Realing. The two additions in spritns and distance bring the Beavers’ class to eight, all of which will join the program in the fall of 2019.

The Bemidji State University cross country team concluded its 2018 season Saturday at the 2018 NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship in Joplin, Mo. Freshman Ryne Prigge led the Beavers for the sixth consecutive meet in the 6,000-meter run held at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.

The Bemidji State University cross country program is set to run at the 2018 NCAA Central Regional Championship Saturday, Nov. 17 in Joplin, Mo. The Beavers and the women’s participants will begin the 6,000-meter run at 11:15 a.m. from Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course on the campus of Missouri Southern State University.
