WAYNE, Neb. (Wayne Country Club) -- The Bemidji State University women’s cross country team finished 20th at the NCAA Division II Central Regional with 609 points. Adams State won the event with 36 points. Junior Kristi Buerkle (Bemidji, Minn.) was BSU’s top finisher at 105th with a time of 25:24.9. The event was hosted by Wayne State College at the Wayne Country Club in Wayne, Neb. BSU sent seven runners to the event that had 22 teams and 147 competitors.
