Junior Kristen Maras (Jr., Anoka, Minn.) finished 15th, while helping to lead the Bemidji State University women’s cross country team to a third-place finish at the Viking Invitational in Valley City, N.D. Friday. Maras completed the 4,000 kilometer course in 17:17.80.
Professor Emeritus Mr. Alan Brew presented the Bemidji State women's track and field team with a monetary gift Tuesday, Aug. 31--his 72nd birthday. With a team grade point average of 3.52, the Bemidji State University women’s cross country squad was named a 2009 NCAA Division II USTFCCCA Women’s Cross Country All-Academic Team, announced today by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).
