Larson's first collegiate win paces BSU to Greenwood Run title

BEMIDJI, Minn. (Greenwood GC) -- Senior Tina Larson (Morris, Minn.) broke the tape and led the Bemidji State University cross country team to a Greenwood Run victory Friday at Greenwood Golf Course.

The senior's first collegiate victory helped push the Beavers past University of Wisconsin-Superior in the duel as fellow senior Michelle Ohman (Prior Lake, Minn.) finished on the heels of Larson in second and Taylor Sautbine (Jr., Tamarack, Minn.) placed fourth.

The Beavers return to action Sept. 14 when they travel to Burlington, N.D. for the Wiley Wilson Memorial Run.  The 5,000-meter race hosted by Minot State University, will take place at Wildwood Golf Course and is set for a 4:30 p.m. starting gun.
