JOPLIN, Mo. (Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course) -- The Bemidji State University cross country team concluded its 2018 season Saturday at the 2018 NCAA Division II Central Regional Championship in Joplin, Mo. Freshman Ryne Prigge led the Beavers for the sixth consecutive meet in the 6,000-meter run held at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course.

Prigge finished 103rd overall with a time of 23:49.26, 26 seconds shy of her personal best mark. Sophomore Kristen Petron ended the run 165th overall with a time of 25:07.37, 25 seconds shy of her personal best mark. Freshman Allyna Storms came in just seven seconds behind Petron with a time of 25:14.25.

Closing out the race for Bemidji State were sophomore Ashley Herdering with a time of 27:06.39, senior Courtney Anderson with a time of 32:45.88 and sophomore Carissa Decko with a time of 35:43.60.

The 2018 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship will be held Sunday, Nov. 18 in Slippery Rock, Penn.
