LAKE ELMO, Minn. (Tartan Park Golf Course) -- The Bemidji State University women’s golf team finished 11th at the Wildwood Lodge Invitational, a two-day, 13-team tournament held at Tartan Park Golf Course, Sept. 20-21. BSU shot a 358-368--726 (+150). The winning team of the tournament was Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference foe Winona State University (319-320--639), posting a +63. WSU’s Michelle Narveson finished first with a 74-78--152 (+8). BSU was 10th after day one of competition. The Beavers’ top performers were junior Marisa Mackedanz (Paynesville, Minn.), who posted an 83-96--179 (+35) and freshman Kathryn Stoffels (Maple Grove, Minn.) who shot 89-90--179 (+35), to finish in a tie for 49th place. Junior Gretchen Trosen (Larimore, N.D.) finished tied for 53rd with a +38 92-90--182. Freshman Lindsay Morgan (Crookston, Minn.) shot 94-92--186 (+42) and finished tied for 60th. BSU will compete in the St. Cloud State Invitational, Oct. 4-5, at the St. Cloud Country Club.
