Bemidji State University had 26 student-athletes selected to the 2010 Spring Academic All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Team, announced by the league office today.
The Bemidji State University women’s golf team put the wraps on the 2010 spring season Sunday, carding a 355 to finish the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Championship in eight place with 54-hole, team total of 365-343-355--1,063 (+211). The event was played at the par-71, 5,904-yard Brandon Golf Course in Brandon, S.D.
Unfavorable weather conditions in the afternoon halted play during the second round of the 2009-10 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Women's Golf Championship, leaving four groups, which included BSU's participants, without round two final scores. The four groups will head out tomorrow morning to complete their rounds at 8:00 a.m. prior to beginning the final 18-holes of the championship.

The Beavers, who are 51 strokes off the lead shared by Minnesota State and Upper Iowa, head into Sunday’s final round led by junior Gretchen Trosen (88, +16).

The duo of Marissa Mackedanz (Jr., Paynesville, Minn.) and Kathryn Stoffels (Fr., Maple Grove, Minn.) led the Beavers to a seventh-place finish posting matching 178s to tie for 23rd place.
