BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State University women’s golf team gears up to host the Bemidji State Invitational this weekend.
The 18-hole triangular event is set to get underway at 12:15 at the Bemidji Town and Country Club and features BSU, University of Minnesota, Crookston and Minnesota State University, Moorhead
Last weekend the Beavers came in 12th at the Mustang Invitational in Marshall, Minn. The BSU women’s golf team recorded a 340-348—688 (+112) to place it 64 strokes off the lead set by Augustana College (315-309—624/+48) and in the middle of the 17-team field.
Olivia Knutson (Fr., Hatton, N.D.) tied for sixth posting 80-78—158 (+14). Monica Wold (Fr., Crookston, Minn.) tied for 26th with a score of 82-83—165 (+21) and Rachel Wold (Jr., Crookston, Minn.) recorded 87-90—177 (+33) to tie for 71st.
Minnesota, Crookston and MSU Moorhead both competed at the Mustang Invitational last weekend. Crookston finished 16th out of 17 and recorded a team score of 792. Moorhead finished 14th with an overall score of 693.
