BEMIDJI, Minn. – Bemidji State University and the rest of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) women’s golf contingent wrap up the 2012-13 league championship this weekend at the The Posse Course at Paradise Point Golf Complex in Kansas City, Mo.
After a practice round Friday, the teams hit the course Saturday morning for the third round of 72-hole event with the final 18 holes slated for Sunday.
BSU enters the spring portion of the NSIC Championships in ninth place. Led by a 34-over-par 178 by Rachel Wold (Jr., Crookston, Minn.), the Beavers posted a 371-386—757 (+181) in the first half of unique event Oct. 6-7 at The Classic at Madden's in Brainerd, Minn. With 36 holes to play, BSU sits 111 strokes behind Augustana College, which posted a 70-over-par 646 in the fall portion of the event.
Wold is tied for 16th place individually.
