BEMIDJI, Minn. — The Bemidji State University women’s golf team opens its spring season this weekend. They will travel Waterloo, Iowa to compete in the Upper Iowa Spring Invitational.
The Beavers first competition of the spring season will be a two-day 36-hole event held at Sunnyside Country Club April 2-3. The event is set to begin at 9 a.m. Friday.
Bemidji State concluded its fall schedule at the NSIC Championship. As a team the Beavers turned in rounds of 351 and 365 to finish in eight place with 716 (+140) at The Classic at Madden’s Golf Course. Junior Mary Elmquist led the Beavers during the fall campaign with an average score of 86 and a low round of 81.
