MORTON, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women’s golf team placed seventh of 12 teams at the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Women’s Golf Championships held at the Dacotah Ridge Golf Club in Morton, Minn. The Beavers totaled a team score of 1043 (348-337-358) while sophomore Lauren Stockmoe led the team by carding 255 (80-81-94) to place 23rd individually.

Minnesota State University, Mankato took home the championship title after carding a score of 952 (309-326-317), 33 strokes in front of second place Augustana University. Minot State University finished third with a score of 995 (337-327-331).
Minnesota State’s Abbe Partington won the individual title by shooting 235 (77-81-77) while her teammate Alissa Carlson took second place at 236 (75-81-80).
Following Stockmoe, freshman Kalley Wagner shot 256 (86-86-84) to finish one stroke behind Stockmoe and place 24th individually. Sophomore Elise Stockmoe carded 261 (88-82-91) to place 27th while Taiylor Ellingson (96-89-89=274) and Erica Gartner (94-88-96=278) round out the Beavers’ five scorers.
