BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women’s golf team travels to Lemont, Ill. Monday to compete in the final event of the fall season before the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Preview. The Flyer Women’s Intercollegiate Invitational will be held at the Cog Hill Golf and Country Club Sep. 30- Oct. 1.
Last fall, Bemidji State placed 6th at the Flyer Invite. Lauren Stockmoe and Kalley Wagner tied for 15th with a score of 164, 20 over par. McKenna Blaine and Elise Stockmoe sat at 33nd with totals of 174, and Taiylor Ellingson placed 37th with 177.
The Beavers come into the weekend after placing 9th at the Mustang Invite last weekend. Morgan Sammon led the Beavers with a score of 155 and tied for 7th. Kalley Wagner followed behind with 159 and a 17th place finish. Taylor Offerdahl and Lauren Stockmoe tied for 29th with totals of 164. Also within the top 50, Jocelyn Nyblom finished at 48th with a 170.
This trip is Bemidji State’s final competition before they travel to Morton, Minn. for the NSIC Preview Oct. 19-20.
