BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women’s golf team begins its spring season Monday, March 9 by participating in the Southwest Minnesota State University Spring Invite and SMSU Spring Challenge in Litchfield and Avondale, Ariz.
The Beavers begin the week March 9-10 for the two-day, two-round SMSU Spring Invite held at the Heritage Red Golf Course in Litchfield, Ariz. BSU then participates in the SMSU Spring Challenge March 11-12 for another two-day, two-round tournament at the Coldwater Golf Club in Avondale, Ariz.
Bemidji State was led by senior Erica Gartner during the fall season who had a scoring average of 82.0 in two rounds. She was followed by sophomore Kalley Wagner who had an 83.0 scoring average in eight rounds while freshman Taylor Offerdahl was close behind with an 83.3 scoring average in eight rounds. Junior Lauren Stockmoe is fourth at 84.0 strokes per round while freshman Morgan Sammon rounds out the top five with an 85.1 scoring average.
Also returning for the spring season are freshman Jocelyn Nyblom, junior Elise Stockmoe, sophomore Taiylor Ellingson and sophomore Grace Van Brocklin.
