Admission fee waived for women's hockey exhibition
BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University Athletics Director Dr. Rick Goeb today announced that there will be no admission fee for BSU’s women’s hockey exhibition tomorrow evening when the Beavers are set to battle Thunder Bay in exhibition play at 7:07 p.m. at Sanford Center.

The general public is invited to get out to support the women’s team as it begins its 2011-12 campaign and to check out Sanford Center free of charge.

Bemidji State capped the 2010-11 campaign with a 14-17-4 overall record and a 11-14-4-2 mark in Western Collegiate Hockey Association play.  The team’s total of 14 wins was just one shy of a program record for wins in a season.  The team advanced to the WCHA playoffs, but fell to the University of North Dakota in the third game of a best-of-three opening-round series.
