Erickson and Vichorek invited to USA Women's Hockey Winter Camp
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Bemidji State University women’s hockey players Montana Vichorek (Sr., D, Moose Lake, Minn.) and Emily Erickson (R-Jr., F, Coleraine, Minn.) have been invited to participate in the USA Hockey Women’s Winter Training Camp at the National Sports Center’s Schwan Super Rink from Dec. 26-31. Erickson and Vichorek were among 41 of the top women’s players in the nation selected to participate in the camp, which will serve as an evaulation and training session for the USA Women’s Hockey National Team.

The list of participants in the camp includes 16 players who have competed for the United States in the Olympics, as well as 21 of 22 players from the team that recently captured the 2011 Four Nations Cup championship.

BSU graduate Erin Cody participated in the camp last December. Vichorek was invited to partake in the USA Women’s Hockey National Festival last August. This is the first camp for USA Hockey that Erickson has been invited to participate in.
