BSU to travel to North Dakota for first round WCHA playoff rematch
MADISON, Wis. - The Bemidji State University women’s hockey team will travel to the University of North Dakota for the first round of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) playoffs. Bemidji State will be the sixth-seed in the WCHA playoff bracket and North Dakota is the third-seed. The series will be a best-of-three format commencing at 2:37 p.m. Friday, Feb. 24 at Ralph Engelstad Arena in Grand Forks, N.D. The second game of the series is set for 2:37 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25 and if needed, a third game will be played at 2:37 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 26.

The series will be a rematch of last season’s first round playoff series between UND and BSU. North Dakota won the chance to move on to the WCHA FINAL FACEOFF as Monique Lamoureux-Kolls found the net in overtime of what was an epic series between the two teams. North Dakota leads the season series 3-1-0 during the 2011-12 campaign, however BSU captured a 3-2 upset victory over then-No. 6 UND Nov. 26 at Sanford Center in Bemidji, Minn.

Tickets can be purchased for the series via the Ralph Engelstad Arena box office by calling 701-777-4689 or online at http://www.ticketmaster.com/Ralph-Engelstad-Arena-tickets-Grand-Forks/venue/49854.
