Bemidji State receives votes in latest USCHO.com poll

BEMIDJI, Minn.— After a 4-0-0 start the Bemidji State University women’s ice hockey team earned its first votes in the USCHO.com Division I Women’s Poll since Feb. 20, 2012 Monday as the Beavers received eight votes.

Bemidji State is off to the best start in program history at 4-0-0 under first-year head coach Jim Scanlan. The four game winning streak also ties a program record set during the 2011-12 season.

Bemidji State is idle this weekend but will return Oct. 17-18 when it opens WCHA play at the Ohio State University. The puck drops at 5:07 p.m. and 11:07 a.m., respectively from Columbus, Ohio.
