COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.— Bemidji State University women’s hockey player Stephanie Anderson has been invited to participate in the USA Hockey Winter Training Camp at the National Sports Center’s Schwan Super Rink from Dec. 27-Dec. 31.
Anderson was one of 40 players of the top women’s players in the nation selected to participate in the camp, which will serve as an evaluation and training session for the USA Women’s Hockey National Team. Included on the roster are 16 members of the silver medal winning 2014 U.S. Women’s Olympic Hockey Team.
The North St. Paul, Minn. native becomes just the fourth BSU player to be invited to the camp. Former Beavers Erin Cody (2010), Montana Vichorek (2011) and Emily Erickson (2011) also participated in the camp during their BSU careers.
