BEMIDJI, Minn. – The Bemidji State University women’s hockey program achieved another program best ranking in the latest USCHO.com national poll. The Beavers (10-2-2, 7-2-1 WCHA) moved up one spot to No. 5 after sweeping Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio this past weekend.
University of Wisconsin remained the No. 1 team in the nation after receiving eight first place votes, followed by Boston College in second with seven votes. The University of Minnesota held its spot at No. 3 and is followed by Clarkson University and the Beavers to round out the top five, respectively.
The Beavers will put their new ranking to the test this upcoming weekend, and will travel to Ridder Arena to challenge the No. 3 Minnesota Golden Gophers.
