COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Former Bemidji State women’s hockey team member Stephanie Anderson has been named to the 2016 U.S. Women’s National Team set to compete at the Four Nations Cup from Nov. 1-5. The tournament will be held in Vierumaki, Finland and features 14 players who have played/playing in the Western Collegiate Hockey Association.
The 2016 tournament marks the third appearance for Anderson having helped USA win the gold medal in 2015 and silver in 2014. A camp will be held at the Northwell Health Ice Center at Eisenhower Park in East Meadow, New York from October 24-28 before the team departs for Finland. The camp will be open to the public.
Anderson currently competes for the Minnesota Whitecaps and will make her return to the Sanford Center, Nov. 11-12 when the Beavers host the Whitecaps for and exhibition series.
