WCHA and FloSports announce multiyear streaming partnership

BLOOMINGTON, Minn. – The Women’s League of the Western Collegiate Hockey Association (WCHA) today announced a multiyear partnership with FloSports, the innovator in live digital sports and original content, to stream every game hosted by Bemidji State University, the University of Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State University and St. Cloud State University, along with the annual WCHA Final Faceoff tournament, live and on-demand exclusively on FloHockey.tv. Fans who subscribe to FloHockey will also have access to select WCHA Women’s League contests hosted by the University of Minnesota, Ohio State University and the University of Wisconsin, per FloSports’ distribution deal with the Big Ten Network.

“We are thrilled to partner with FloSports to provide our fans a single streaming home for WCHA women’s hockey,” said WCHA Vice President and Women’s League Commissioner Katie Million. “The synergy with FloSports and the Big Ten Conference allows us to bring all the amazing hockey played in the WCHA – across each of our seven schools – to our fans in a way never before possible. We are looking forward to working with the FloSports team to give all WCHA fans – both Men’s League and Women’s League – around the world a new and exciting way to follow our league.”

Featuring live streaming of premier events, original video programming and weekly studio shows, FloSports is a leading provider in the collegiate space, including partnerships with the Big Ten Conference, the Big 12 Conference, Conference USA, the Mountain West Conference and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). Thanks to a previously announced agreement with the WCHA Men’s League, FloHockey.tv will be the exclusive home to more than 260 WCHA games annually on its OTT platform.

“The addition of the WCHA Women’s League games is very exciting, and this gives fans the ability to watch one of the most established college conferences in the U.S.” FloSports SVP, Rights and Acquisition Strategy Adam Fenn said. “The deal also speaks to a larger trend in the industry, with more rights holders expediting their move to OTT as cord-cutting continues to increase. FloHockey is now the top provider for women’s college hockey, and we look forward to adding even more games in the future.”

To access live and on-demand coverage of WCHA games (exhibition, regular season league games, nonconference games and WCHA Quarterfinal contests hosted by Bemidji State, Minnesota Duluth, Minnesota State and St. Cloud State, along with the WCHA Final Faceoff and any game hosted by Minnesota, Ohio State and Wisconsin that is also available on BTN Plus), visit FloHockey.tv and become a monthly or annual PRO subscriber. Either subscription unlocks access to premium content across the entire FloSports network. Watch the games on all screens by downloading the FloSports app on iOS, Roku or Apple TV 4.
