Bested her previous school single-season records for most shutouts (6), wins (13) and goals-against average (1.84)...Tomcikova also set the record for longest shutout sequence at 149:30 (Oct. 29-Nov. 6, 2010)...her .933 save percentage was second-best to her previous mark of .938 set her sophomore year...recorded the first postseason shutout by a BSU goaltender, blanking North Dakota on Feb. 26, 2011...currently holds the career records for shutouts (14), goals-against average (2.36) and save percentage (.928)...Tomcikova is on track to take over career records for games appeared in (needs 25), minutes played (needs 1097:02), wins (needs six) and saves (needs 564)...there have been a total of 31 shutouts recorded by BSU, 14 have come from Tomcikova...named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 6, 2010.

After a stellar freshman campaign Tomcikova has made an even better sophomore debut gathering 795 saves on 848 shots, recording a .938 save percentage and a 2.06 goals against average on the season...broke numerous team records including: career shutouts (8), shutouts in a single-season (5), career save percentage (.926), single-season save percentage (.938), career goals against average (2.62), and single-season goals against average (2.06) which surpasses the old mark of 2.67...she also tied the school record for most wins in a season with 10...Tomcikova returned from the 2010 Winter Olympic Games in Vancouver where she played in all five games for the Slovakian National Women’s Ice Hockey Team; in those five games she faced 235 shots on goal, more than any other goaltender, male or female, in the 2010 Winter Games...was named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week four times (Oct. 14, Nov. 11, Dec. 16, Jan. 20)...nominated for the 2010 Patty Kazmaier Award.

2008-09 (Freshman)

Tomcikova came onto the scene in a huge way, becoming just the second Beaver to eclipse the quadruple-save plateau (1,025)...played 1805:08, and finished with a 5-22-4 record...recorded a .917 saves percentage and a 3.09 goals against average...tied the school record with three shutouts...became the first player in conference history to be named WCHA Defensive Player of the Week on three straight occasions (Dec. 10, Dec. 17 and Jan. 7)...became the first Beaver to earn All-WCHA Second Team honors at season’s end.

Prior to BSU
Played for the Slovakian National Team that won gold medal in the North Korea World Championships (Division II), and placed second in Latvia (Division I)...went to high school at Caronport High School in Canada...high school ladies team won the Regina League, Provincials and the Western Shield sophomore year...played for the boys tier II team in the south central minor hockey league...team got second in provincials...was named defensive player of the year.
