Played in nine games in net for the Beavers and posted a 5-2-1 record to go along with a 1.82 goals against average and a .936 save percentage... Recorded her first career shutout in a playoff series clinching win at Minnesota Duluth (Feb. 25)... Played a career high 65 minutes vs Wisconsin (Jan. 20) and set her career high with 32 saves vs RIT (Dec. 9)... Made six consecutive starts in the team's final six games of the season... Allowed just one power-play goal in 493 minutes.
Prior to BSU (Interlake Lightning) – Dowhy comes to Bemidji State after competing for the Interlake Lightning of the Manitoba Female Midget Hockey League… Dowhy was invited to the U18 Team Canada Selection Camp in 2016 and made Team Manitoba in 2015 and 2016… Was selected to Shaftesbury High School’s honor roll.
Personal: Daughter of Brian and Meriena Dowhy… Born May 5, 1999… Uncle Dale Krentz played college hockey at Michigan State University and professionally with the Detroit Redwings… Plans to major in nursing at BSU.
