The Bemidji State soccer team posted a 10-7-2 overall record in 2012 and finished sixth in NSIC play with a league mark of 8-5-2. By some standards a winning record and berth into the conference tournament would be enough. But head coach Jim Stone said six one-goal losses and a loss to Upper Iowa in the NSIC Tournament quarterfinals has only left the Beavers wanting more in 2013.

Bemidji State University head soccer coach Jim Stone today announced that Amanda Garvin (Claremont, Calif.) will join the BSU soccer roster for the 2013 campaign. Garvin signed a National Letter of Intent during the NCAA’s regular signing period beginning April 17.

The Bemidji State University soccer team will host a spaghetti feed Friday, April 12 beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Bemidji, Minn. Elks Lodge. All proceeds from the trip will be designated for the team's trip to Costa Rica in August.

Kortney Kenville of Lino Lakes, Minn. signed a National Letter of Intent to play soccer for the Bemidji State soccer team beginning next season.
