BEMIDJI, Minn. -- The Bemidji State University soccer team opened the 2013 preseason Aug.19 with a pair of two-hour training sessions.
Under the direction of 12th-year head coach Jim Stone, the team hit the BSU Soccer Complex for physical testing and its infamous "Cooper" timed run. The Beavers then settled in for their first official training session of the season competing in temperatures topping 90 degrees. After lunch at Walnut Hall and some down time, the Beavers were back on the pitch for session No. 2, this time in a driving rain, as preparations for the 2013 season continued.
