Bemidji State’s Fobbe and Phillips selected for Butch Raymond Scholarship

The NSIC has announced 32 recipients of the fifth annual Butch Raymond Scholarship, which included Anna Fobbe of the Bemidji State University soccer team and Brooke Phillips, a Beaver Softball player. In total, $240,000 in scholarships, sponsored by Sanford Health, will be divided among selected recipients for the 2018-19 academic year.

Famestad and Krause take home Bemidji State Athlete of the Year honors

Bemidji State University Soccer captain Miranda Famestad and Jake Krause, of the football team, were named 2017-18 Female and Male Athletes of the Year as a part of the Beaver Nation Celebration Thursday at the Beaux Arts Ballroom. In addition, Allyson Smith, of the soccer team, and Andrew Lackowski, of the football team, took home Female and Male Newcomer of the Year honors.

Thelen and Tompkins named 2018 NSIC Honor Student-Athletes

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference has announced Bemidji State University’s Raquel Thelen and Evan Tompkins to its list of 2018 Honor Student-Athlete and scholarship award winners.

Bemidji State Soccer camp dates set for summer 2018

Bemidji State Soccer Head Coach Jim Stone has announced the dates for the program’s 2018 summer soccer camps. The Beavers will offer a Kid’s Summer Day Camp for girls and boys ages 7-14 from June 11-14, while its two College ID Camps are scheduled for June 8-10 and Aug. 3-5 and are geared for girls entering grades 9-12.

Bemidji State soccer program gets commitments from 10 for 2018 season

Bemidji State head soccer coach Jim Stone has announced the commitments of 10 recruits for the 2018 season. Jessica Bartz, Erin Becker, Devin Breeggemann, Megan Dahl, Megan French, Megan Majewski, Isabelle Morin, Mackenzie Seim, Anna Steadland and Sara Wendt each signed National Letters of Intent to play soccer for the Beavers beginning next season.

2018 National Signing Day press conference to be held Feb. 7

The Bemidji State University football and soccer programs will announce the newest members of Beaver Territory Wednesday, Feb. 7 on National Signing Day while hosting press conferences beginning at 3:30 p.m. BSU football head coach Brent Bolte and soccer head coach Jim Stone will speak at the live press conference in room 231 of the Physical Education Building on the BSU Campus.
