2016 (Freshman): Did not appear in any games for the Beavers.

Prior to BSU: Cairns came to Bemidji State after a four-year prep soccer career at Elk River High School… Cairns earned an All-Northwest Suburban Conference Honorable Mention honor for the Elks… She scored the game-winning penalty kick to lead the Elks to the state tournament in 2013… Also helped guide the Centennial Premier club team to back-to-back state championships in 2014 and 2015.

Personal: Monet Cairns is the daughter of Nathan and Jennifer Cairns… Born October 18, 1997… Mother, Jennifer, was a hockey and soccer player at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls… Is majoring in exercise science with a minor in psychology.
