Famestad played 20 and started in all 19 games for BSU... Totaled three goals and two assists for eight points... Took 20 shots resulting in seven shots on goal and an average of 1.11 shots per game... Led a unit that posted 12 shutouts in 20 matches, which included a 377:18 shutout streak to open the season... In all, the BSU defense allowed just 213 shots in 20 matches (10.65 spg) and 98 (4.9 sogpg) shots on goal... Headlined a BSU back line protected a goalkeeping duo that ranked second in the league in goals allowed (0.50) and goals allowed average (0.48). Offensively, the senior was sixth on the team in scoring with three goals and a career-high two assists for eight points, logging 1,484 minutes... 2016 (Junior) Played in all 20 matches for the Beavers in 2016, anchoring the back line with 19 starts... led all BSU defenders and finished fifth on the team in scoring, piling up 10 points. With five goals, Famestad accounted for one game-winner... Played in 1,730 minutes, averaging more than 80 minutes per game... As a center back, she also played a pivotal role in seven shutouts by BSU goalkeepers and was a part of a unit that ranked third in the league in goals allowed.

2015 (Sophomore)Famestad was named to third team All-NSIC for the first time in her career...She started in all 19 games for the Beavers and netted three goals for a total of six points (sixth on the team)...Played a total of 1,581 minutes.

2014 (Freshman)Played in 18 games and started in three of them... Posted three goals and one assist with seven points while playing a total of 909 minutes.

Prior to BSU: A three-year letter recipient at Roosevelt High School, Famestad played three years on the varsity team soccer where she gathered First Team All-State Honors in 2013 and Second Team All-State Honors in 2012. Famestad’s greatest accomplishment includes helping Roosevelt High School to back-to-back South Dakota High School State Tournament titles in 2012 and 2013, while assembling a 37-game winning streak. Additionally, Famestad played for the Dakota Alliance Soccer club where they collected state championships in 2011 and 2013 and made regional appearances in those same years.

Personal: Miranda Lucille Famestad…Born May 18, 1996… Daughter of Heath and Shelly Famestad… Her brother, Alex played collegiate soccer for two years… She collected the team comedian award for all four years of high school. She was a regular on the Roosevelt Honor Roll and received an Excellence Award for having a GPA of 3.5 or higher… Is majoring in physical education and DAPE at BSU.
