Nelson played and started in 17 games for the Beavers for a total of 1129 minutes... Finished her junior season with 6 goals and 4 assists for 16 points... Recorded 34 shots with 21 being shots on goal for an average of .618 being shots on goal... Averaged 2.00 shots per game and 0.35 goals per game... Recorded career single-game highs with 2 goals and 4 points against Winona State (Sep. 17), 1 assist and 3 shots on goal against Winona State (Nov. 1)... 2016 (Sophomore) Saw time in all 20 of BSU's contests in 2016, making a start in 19... Finished her sophomore season seventh on the team with three goals and an assist... Scored her first BSU goal to lift the Beavers to a 2-1 victory over Southwest Minnesota State (Oct. 22)... Accounted for two game-winning goals and a game-tying goal... Recorded 32 shots putting 16 on net (.500)... Played a total 1,193 minutes.

2015 (Freshman) Nelson played in all 19 games for the Beavers and started in 18 of them... The freshman midfielder collected three assists on the season (tied for fourth) for a total of three points, earning her first collegiate assist versus Northwest Missouri State... She put eight shots on goal (.444)... Played a total of 1,221 minutes.

Prior to BSU: A three-time letterwinner for the Woodbury High School girl’s soccer team, won the team’s most dedicated award in 2011, Rookie of the Year in 2012 and is a two-time All-Suburban East selection in 2013 and 2014… Suffered a season-ending injury during the 2011 season, and worked her way back into a starting role in 2012… Also participated in the Olympic Development Program Regional Camp in 2013 and was a ODP state player from 2010-12… In addition played for the Minnesota Thunder Academy U18 team, where her coach was former BSU Graduate Assistant Chris Citowicki.
