Tennis squad lands five on Spring Academic All-NSIC Team

Bemidji State University had 26 student-athletes selected to the 2010 Spring Academic All-Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Team, announced by the league office today.

Bemidji State’s No. 2 doubles team of Farrah Steinke (Sr., Crosby, Minn.) and Cheyanne Maki (Sr., Watford City, N.D.) gutted out an 8-6 victory Saturday at the Gillett Recreation/Fitness Center, but that was all the team scoring the Beavers would muster as Gustavus Adolphus College defeated the BSU tennis team 8-1 in nonconference action.
