Bemidji State tennis travels to MSU Moorhead Sunday

BEMIDJI, Minn. ­— The Bemidji State women’s tennis team gears up to play Minnesota State University Moorhead Sunday at 8 a.m. in Moorhead Minn.

Last weekend, the Beavers dropped matches to St. Cloud State University, Minnesota State University, Mankato, and Winona State University each by the score of 9-0.

BSU is 2-12 on the season and is 2-5 in NSIC play.

MSU Moorhead owns a record of 4-8 this season. After a six game losing streak, the Dragons beat University of Mary 7-2 and Southwest Minnesota State University 9-0 last weekend. MSUM will play St. Cloud State on Friday before it hosts the Beavers on Sunday.

Bemidji State will play it’s last two contests of the 2012 regular season April 14 against Upper Iowa University and Southwest Minnesota State. The matches will be held in St. Cloud at Gold’s Gym at 10 a.m. and 1:30 p.m., respectively.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
