Bemidji, Minn. – The Bemidji State University tennis team completed its 2019 regular season with a 7-0 victory over University of Wisconsin- River Falls. Beaver Tennis seniors, Zoe Lindgren and Breann Walsh, were honored before the match.
The Beavers took the early lead by taking all three doubles matches and earning the first point of the day. Breann Walsh and Brooke Mimmack did not drop a single game in the number three doubles spot. In singles play, seniors Zoe Lindgren and Breann Walsh swept their opponents, 6-0, 6-0. Brooke Mimmack and Hannah Peterson only dropped one game a piece.
BSU will travel to Minnetonka, Minn. Apr. 13 in the first round of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference Tournament. The seventh seeded Beavers will take on second-seeded Minnesota State University Moorhead at 9 a.m. Saturday. NSIC Tournament Semifinals and Finals will take place at 8 a.m. and 12 p.m. on Apr. 14, respectively.
