Led by a record-breaking performance by its 4x100-meter relay team, the Bemidji State University women’s track and field team finished 11th at the 2012 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Championships Saturday at Community Bowl in Bismarck, N.D. Taylor Sautbine contributed to 10 of BSU's 11 points in the championship meet.
Taylor Sautbine (Jr., Tamarack, Minn.) opened the first day of the 2012 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships breaking a 33-year-old Bemidji State University 100-meter dash record en rout to qualifying for tomorrow's finals at Community Bowl in Bismarck, N.D.
The Bemidji State University women’s track and field team will be among 19 teams and nearly 500 student-athletes to ascend on Community Bowl in Bismarck, N.D May 11-12 as the University of Mary hosts the 2012 Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
The Bemidji State University track and field team, led by season-best performances from Taylor Sautbine (Jr., Tamarack, Minn.), Kirsten Maras (Sr., Ramsey, Minn.) and Kasey Lasch (Fr., Wahpeton, N.D.), competed in the Ron Masanz Track and Field Classic at Ron Masanz Track in Moorhead, Minn.
Bemidji State University’s Michelle Ohman (Sr., Prior Lake, Minn.) and Zach Braun (C, 6-0, 205, So., Lakeville, Minn.) have been named Beaver Pride Athletes of the Week after recording outstanding athletic performances during the week of April 23-29.
