Senior Tina Larson (Morris, Minn.) tracked down a 22-year-old Bemidji State University record Friday to pace BSU at Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Outdoor Track and Field Championships May 10-11. The Beavers finished the meet in 11th place.

Sautbine scores 4,485 to place third at NSIC Multi

Bemidji State University multi-event standout Taylor Sautbine (Sr., Tamarack, Minn.) finished third overall and provisionally qualified for the NCAA Division II Championships with a career-best 4,485 points in the heptathlon at the 2013 Outdoor Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC) Multi Championships in Aberdeen, S.D. Monday. Her third-place finish earned her All-NSIC laurels.

Weekend full of track and field events planned for Jan. 18-19

The Bemidji State University track and field team will get its 2013 indoor season in full motion this weekend when it hosts the BSU Multi and Super 8 Open at the Gillett Recreation-Fitness Center. The BSU Multi will get underway at 5 p.m. Friday with the nine-team Super 8 Open will begin at 3 p.m. Saturday.

Everyone wins at the BSU Sara Labraaten Run/Walk for Women

The Bemidji State/Sara Labraaten Run/Walk for Women kicked off the Homecoming events Saturday morning as family, friends and alumni supported women's athletics at BSU with the fourth annual gathering. Nearly 100 people participated in the event to raise nearly $5,000 for women's scholarships at BSU.
