BEMIDJI, Minn. -- The Bemidji State University cross country and track and field programs will host the annual Turkey Trot Thursday, Nov. 28 on the campus of BSU. Registration begins at 7:30 a.m. while the race will begin from the parking lot of the Gillett Wellness Center.
BSU will begin the day with a 1,000-meter fun run for children at 8:30 a.m. followed by 5K and 10K races at 9 a.m. Participants can register prior to the event online for $20 or the day-of at the Gillett Wellness Center for $30. The cost for the children’s’ fun run is $10.
Prizes will be given out for the best individual and best team costumes. Awards will also be given out to the top male and female finisher for both the 5K and 10K champion, as well as the top finisher of the fun run. Pie, hot cider and coffee will be provided following the races.
