BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University track and field head coach Kevin Kean announced the addition of thrower Autumn Hildebrandt for the 2020-21 seasons. Hildebrandt is a conference-champion thrower from Britton-Hecla High School.
Hildebrandt’s acceptance is contingent upon admission to BSU and compliance with NCAA rules, including certification by the NCAA Eligibility Center.
Autumn Hildebrandt, a thrower from Havana, N.D., is a letter winner in track and field at Britton-Hecla High School under head coach Stephanie Symens. She earned a South Dakota Region 1B Championship in the shot put and was a qualifier for the 2019 South Dakota Track and Field Championships as a junior. Hildebrandt holds personal records of 33-feet-11.75-inches in the shot put indoors, 36-8.25 in the shot put outdoors and 89-4 in the discus outdoors while being named the team’s Female MVP as a junior. She is also a letter winner in volleyball and is competitive in rodeo barrel racing.
Hildebrandt was born Feb. 13, 2002 and is the daughter of Roy Hildebrandt. She was a member of the “B” Honor Roll during her freshman, sophomore and junior years and plans to major in nursing at Bemidji State.
