Eight individuals, one team to be inducted into BSU Hall of Fame on Saturday

Bemidji State University will induct eight individuals and one outstanding team into its Athletic Hall of Fame on January 22, 2022 in Bemidji, as part of the University’s Alumni B-Club/Athletic Hall of Fame Weekend. The 2021 inductees include five former student-athletes, a graduate who has gone on to achieve unparalleled success as a coach another who has made a tremendous impact on BSU since graduating, a former coach and the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference champion men’s track and field team.

Tracy Dill to retire as BSU director of athletics in 2022

Bemidji State University Athletics announced Friday that Director of Athletics Tracy Dill will be retiring, effective July 1, 2022, after serving nine years with the Beavers.

Bemidji State 8th in 2021 Fall NSIC All-Sports Standings

The Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference All-Sports Standings have been complied following the fall season as Bemidji State currently ranks eighth. The NSIC will recognize an overall champion along with a men's and a women's champion.

Razo added to strength and conditioning staff

Colton Razo has joined Bemidji State Strength and Conditioning staff as an assistant coach. Razo comes to Bemidji State after spending the last three years in high level collegiate athletics programs. He officially began his duties at BSU Sept. 1.

John Rehfeld takes over as BSU director of strength and conditioning

Bemidji State University has officially hired John Rehfeld as the director of strength and conditioning, director of athletics Tracy Dill announced. Rehfeld served as the assistant strength and conditioning coach with the Beavers since November 2020 after spending the previous 19 months at NCAA Division I programs.

Gordy Skaar Memorial Golf Tournament raises over $45,000 for BSU Athletic scholarships

More than 200 golfers gathered at the Bemidji Town & Country Club for the 44th Annual Gordy Skaar Memorial Golf Tournament on June 18, which grossed over $45,000 in support of Bemidji State’s athletic programs.
