Pat Morris joins the Beaver Football program in 2020 as the outside linebackers coach. Morris most recently coached with BSU during the 2010 season before stepping away from the coaching ranks over the past 10 years.

Morris served as the outside linebackers coach for the Beavers in 2010 and also served as a graduate assistant coach in charge of wide receivers during the 2005 and 2006 seasons. Bemidji State combined for a 23-10 record overall during Morris's three seasons as an assistant coach.

While at Bemidji State, Morris coached one all-region wide receiver as the position coach in 2006, three NSIC All-Conference wide receivers between 2005 and 2006, and one all-conference outside linebacker in 2010. Morris coached former Beaver wide receiver Anthony Schreiber to NSIC All-Conference First Team and Don Hansen All-Super Region 3 First Team as a wide receiver and All-America Honorable Mention as a return specialist.

Morris previously served as the defensive backs coach at Upper Iowa University during the 2008 and 2009 seasons. He coached a Preseason All-American First Team selection, All-Super Region 3 First Team member and an NSIC All-Conference First Team selection. Prior to joining the Peacocks, Morris coached at Kansas Wesleyan University as the passing game coordinator during the 2007 season and also served a defensive internship with the University of Nebraska in 2007.

Morris began his coaching career at Dana College as an assistant coach in charge of wide receivers, kickers, punters and long snappers from during the 2003 and 2004 seasons. He coached one NAIA All-America Honorable Mention member and GPAC All-Conference First Team member.

Morris graduated from Dana College in 2004 with a bachelor's degree in education.

Morris lives in Bemidji with his wife, Elisha, and four daughters, Ciera, Audree, Ella and Payton.
