BEMIDJI, Minn. -- Bemidji State University baseball head coach Tim Bellew announced today that this afternoon’s doubleheader with Concordia-St. Paul has been cancelled due to a snow storm in the Twin Cities area.

The Beavers were scheduled to play the Golden Bears on March 29-30 in Bemidji, Minn. but because of poor field conditions at the BSU Baseball Field, the series was moved to St. Paul to be played March 30-31. CSP swept the Beavers in the first two games of the series yesterday, with the final two games being cancelled today.

Bemidji State (5-12-1; 3-3 NSIC) will continue NSIC play this Tuesday, April 1 when they travel to Fayette, Iowa to take on the Upper Iowa Peacocks from Robertson Woods Field. Game time for the doubleheader is set for 12 p.m.

Bemidji State University, located in Bemidji, Minn., is an NCAA Division II institution and a member of the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference (NSIC).
